Nanuk's list of arguments for Fifteenth Amendment

  • the core/ non-core poitical issue is one of the most debated inside the national parties and it is already known, that different contradicting views of this point are amongst us. So we probably wont come to an agreement on this point on such a general level. That alone is reason enough to not have such a paragraph, if we ever want to agree with all our parties/pirates to this manifesto.
  • The content of the paragraph is highly debatable and speaks about theories how voters decide to vote etc. Thats not the content i'd expect in a 'Pirate Manifesto'.

How would pirate parties deal with non-core issues?

While there can always be disagreement in fewer or larger parts, there is an actual need to make people aware of how do we handle non-core issues. This amendment doesn't aim to redefine what's stated by this section concerning, but instead completely removing this section; because of believing that leaving people without transparency about our general behaviour regarding non-core issues, I defend that eligible voters should reject this amendment.
